SYD November

Well here is my SYD for this month, I cheated for the first time and did piccy's from two days later as I wanted the celebration of hitting target, wearing the LBD and certainly not the piccy's from the 25th due to the two blog entries shown before.

Day 333

Anger is an emotional state that may range from minor irritation to intense rage

All I wanted was a couple of really good pic's of us all to use for my SYD and it turned into a major row, that's how stupid family tiffs normally are isn't it. Here are me and Dee trying hard to get over our anger but SYD is definately best left for another day.

Well that was me today. But someone was on my side I searched all over Reading with Mum and dad for jsut the right bag and lo and behold in the last shop before leaving there it was! So I'm celebrating my outfit being complete for friday and finding just the bag I fancied, shallow I know but hey what's a girl to do.

I've hankered after a LBD for an age and now I'm only 1lb off target which I really hope to get on wednesday DH agreed I deserved this treat, especially as I can use it over crimbo too. Here it is but you'll have to wait till later on to see how it looks as I'm saving that for target achievement.

days 325 and 326

Day 326
Prompt 326
"There is no beautifier of complexion, or form, or behavior, like the wish to scatter joy and not pain around us. ‘Tis good to give a stranger a meal, or a night’s lodging. ‘Tis better to be hospitable to his good meaning and thought, and give courage to a companion. We must be as courteous to a man as we are to a picture, which we are willing to give the advantage of a good light. ”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-82), philosopher, poet, essayist

This is a maxim I try to impart to the children all the time. I have been working on anti-bullying week theis week so have been earnestly discussing two wrongs don't make a right. Which I hope will start to sow seeds of scattering joy not pain. The piccy though is of my complexion beautifiers, well a girl needs a hand you know.

Live your life fom your heart. Share from your heart. And your story will touch and heal people's souls."

This is so true, the friendship DD and I share goes beyond love. We both know how to help each other as well as when we have fallen out how to hurt, but then how to placate and always how to tease. We are very lucky and I thank my lucky stars that this is so every now and again, I just hope it always stays this way.
